Tray Pack and Other Packing

Hodie is a trusted partner to several companies with products that can be found in stores nationwide. We have the ability to help with all of your packing needs:

  • Sealed tray overwrap - Breast, thighs, wings, drumsticks, paws, etc.

  • CVP - Bulk or we can do 4 x 10 and 8 x 5

  • Bulk packing (40 or 70 lb boxes)

Hand Portioning / Sizing and Debone

Consistency, precision, and timeliness are just a part of what we deliver through our sizing, portioning, and debone services. Our skilled production team has the ability and experience that is needed to ensure your orders are filled to meet your specifications.

Throughout all of our processes we focus on multi-point quality checks to ensure that the product we handle will be exactly the way you need it to be.

We can help you with any sizing and portioning needs you have: fillets, strips, nuggets/chunks, tenders, thin slice, slitter meat, split wings, etc. We also have a strong debone team that can handle all types of dark meat (whole leg, thigh, drumsticks, skinless, skin on, etc), fronts, whole bird, etc.

Seasoning and Marination

Our tumble marination system can be a great addition to your product. Our system can do boneless or bone-in meat.

  • We can run a seasoned marinade with an ESL to add flavor to your protein

  • If you have a seasoning already that is great, or we can work with you to R&D something new

  • Regular, WSP marination available as well

  • Seasoned / marinated product can be packed ready for retail or in bulk

Additional Information

  • Sizing / Portioning

    We have experience cutting fillets, strips, and nuggets of all shapes and sizes. If you have a cut that you need handled we are happy to help and can provide samples upon request.

  • Debone

    Our debone team is incredibly skilled at ensuring all bones are removed from the product while achieving maximum yields for you. We have a strong QA process to inspect finished product before it is shipped back to you. In addition, we can provide additional assurance with our X-ray program.

  • Retail Packaging / Tray Pack

    Let us help you fulfill your retail orders with our tray pack machines. We have fully sealed, Ossid overwrap machines that provide consistent, familiar packaging that will look great on a shelf. We can pack anything you need - fillets, thighs, drumsticks, wings, thin sliced breast, tenders, other sized product, whatever you want. Let us know how we can help with your program.

  • Processing as a Service (Toll Processing)

    We are flexible to work with whatever project arrangement you need. If you have raw material that you would like to use then we can size, debone, and/or pack it however you want and then send it back to you for a fee. If you don’t have the raw material then we can source it for you.

  • Certifications and Claims

    We undergo several recurring audits to give our customers peace of mind that our facility and processes are exceptional.

    Hodie Meats is BRC audited with a AA rating.

    We are also G.A.P. certified and approved/certified to run both Organic and Halal products.

    Our facility also undergoes the USDA Process Verified Program (PVP) in order to keep claims accurate - NAE, NAE Veg Fed, NAIHM, Cage Free, Free Range, Organic certified, and Halal certified.

    We also have export approval to Mexico and Canada.

  • Quality Assurance & Food Safety

    Quality is the top priority at Hodie Meats. Our QA team has an incredible depth of knowledge and level of care that allows us to deliver consistent, clean product to our customers.

    Within in our culture and our processes, we have multiple touch points where we are checking to ensure that our product is being produced safely and accurately.

    In addition, we undergo Food Safety audits to ensure that our processes and procedures are being followed correctly.
